Description:

Bills and receipts for equipment including medicines and prefabricated huts; memoranda on conditions of 'intermediate cabin' passages on the Pestonjee Bomanjee; correspondence about Mitchell's resignation (1841); drafts (1852) on South Australian Banking Company in favour of the Ayliffes. One letter (1838) also includes a reference to the building of Pulborough school, and claims of J. E. Carew.

 

Many of the bills bear the stamp of the Petworth Emigration Committee.
