Description:

Agreement made between (a) the Chapter of Chichester and (b) Leticia daughter of Edward [ ] Gundewin, and Laurence her brother.

 

The houses and lands which Roger, son of Gundewin, gave to the Church of Chichester.

 

To Leticia, with remainder to Laurence.

 

Consideration: One good loaf of bread, and two candles of fine wax annually on the anniversary of the said Roger.

 

Witnesses: Peter Laurentius, William de Brukelesh, priests, William Gruel, Walter de Burham, William de Fernah., deacons, Thomas de Palantia, Peter Anselm, Roger Cultbern, John Cocus, Ralf, son of Ralf, citizens.

 

Endorsed: Part of the chirograph of Leticia, of the land of Gonndewyn in West Street.
