All lands and tenements bought of Sir Roger de la Ware, kt., in Torynge, with the advowson of the church when it becomes vacant a third time, with free men, villeins, wards, reliefs, heriots, scutages, etc.

 

To keep 2 priests and six clerks to celebrate for ever in the chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the church of Chichester for the soul of the late Bishop Gilbert [de St. Leofard] of Chichester, according to the ordinance.

 

Witnesses: Symon de la Flete, mayor of Chichester, William le Tavernyr, William de Eyot, William Gryselon, William de Garlonde, William Brown of Chichester, Geoffrey le Parkyr.
