Description:

By (a) William, Dean, and the Chapter of Chichester to (b) Thomas of Lavinton and Alice his wife, for their lives.

 

A certain house in Vestrete (West St.) Chichester, lying between the house of Henry Gundewyne on one side and the house which was William de Kam's on the other,

 

Rent: 1 mark of silver p.a.

 

(b) Are to reside in the house and keep it in good repair.

 

Witnesses: Sir Thomas de Anna, subdean of Chichester, Sir Gervase, chaplain, Henry Gundewin, Richard the taverner, William the baker, Alan de Midherst.

 

Endorsed: Charter of tenements granted in fee farm. St. Martin.
