Messuage in the Pallant, Chichester, between that of Peter de Ludesye and that of Florence, daughter of Anselm Herte.

 

A plot of land with the house built on it, which is between the plot late of Sir Peter de Wyk, chaplain, to East, and a plot of (a) to West.

 

Messuage in the Pallant, between the messuage late of Nicholas Ivete to one side and that late of Richard le Pipere to the other.

 

1½ acres in the suburb of Chichester. The 1 acre lying next to the ditch of La Homcroft to South, next to (a)'s land, extending to East and West. The ½ acre lying to the North of the land of William Gruel, which is called La Wynurd, next to the road which leads to St. James's Hospital to North, also extending East and West.

 

1 acre outside Northgate lying between land of Henry Gondwyne and land late of William de Bruyl, extending lengthways from the South to the North, that is from the highway opposite the fort (castra) to Havedlond, which is next to the ditch of Homcroft.

 

1 acre in the field called Portfeld, lying between land of St. Mary's Hospital and land late of William de Bruyl and Anastasia his wife.

 

A halfacre (helva) of land which lies next to the acre (a) had by gift from Roger, son and heir of Gilbert Cutelbern to the South.

 

Together with all charters and instruments concerning the lands and messuages.

 

Consideration: (b) to pay 10s. on (a)'s anniversary for obits and 13s. for bread to be distributed among the poor by the communar.
