Description:

By (a) Adam [Wandrasy] subtreasurer of Chichester to (b) the Dean and Chapter of Chichester to keep (a)'s anniversary.

 

4s. rent from a house in South St., Chichester, between the house of M[a]til[da] Sturmy on one side, the house of Symon Byardehors on the other, payable by the hand of Richard of Swereford, his heirs or assigns.

 

Also 12d. rent from an acre outside the East Gate of Chichester in La Guldennelonde which is called La [Berghakre] from William le Despenser, as appears in the charters of the aforesaid Richard and William, which (a) has deposited for safety in the muniment room of the Church at Chichester.

 

Each vicar to have 1d., the residue to be distributed among the canons according to custom, on (a)'s anniversary.

 

Witnesses: Roger Germayn, Mayor of Chichester, Richard Taverner, William Bewolf, William Hor, Walter of Cornwall, John de St[oke], Richard de Boxgrave.

 

Device, a six pointed star in chief, otherwise illegible.
