Title: PARISH OF NUTLEY
Description:

A faculty for a church and burial ground at Nutley in the parish of Maresfield was granted on 6 May 1844 (WSRO EpII/26/3 p319) and a conventional district assigned on 17 June 1847; the church, dedicated to St James the Less, was completed in 1848. The living was a perpetual curacy until 1868, when it became a vicarage during the incumbency of the Revd Albert Smallpiece. From c1910 until its demolition in 1958, the mission church of Twyford was served from Nutley. Summary of contents:
