Description:

This chapel which was a building presented by Mrs A Austen, transported from Udimore and re-erected on the site, opened in 1882. In 1900 a Sunday School was opened. Both, however, were closed in 1957. Originally in the Staple Cross circuit (see NMA/13), when this was wound up, it was moved to the Ticehurst circuit in 1902 (see NMA/14)
