Between ANNE SLUTTER of Hasting, widow, HENRY SLUTTER her only son and heir apparent, RICHARD PALMER of Hasting, fisherman, and MARY his wife, JOHN MOORE of Hasting, fisherman, MARTHA SLUTTER, daughter of the said Anne, WILLIAM CHITTENDEN of Burwash, carpenter and JUDITH his wife, EDWARD BARTON of RObertsbridge in Salehurst, cordwainer, and ANNE his wife and WILLIAM MORRIS of Ashburnham, butcher, and MARY his wife (the said Anne Barton and Mary Morris being the onle two daughters of Peter Andrewes late of Ashburnham, husbandman decd., and only sisters and co-heirs of Thos. Andrewes their brother decd.) of the one part ANTHONY GRINT, the eldest, of Herstmounceux, yeoman, STEPHEN CONEY of Burwash, yeoman, and WILLIAM BAKER of Bread, miller of the other part, to lead the use of a Fine to be levied and acknowledged to the said Anthony Grint of and in

Colbran's, E

 

Also of and in the North half of a coppice or piece of woodland called Founders Wood in Dallington, the said north part containing 11 ac. and being part of the said wood wherein there is a carrying way leading to Ashburnham or Dallington Furnace, such North part bounding to lands late of Thos. Walker decd., N., a house in the occupation of Martin Mathew, E., lands of James Baker, W. and the other part of the said wood, S. and W

 

Also of and in the South part of the said coppice called Founders Wood containing also 11 ac. bounding to lands of the heirs of Andrewes, S., lands of Henry Weekes late Gowers, W. and the other part of the said wood, N. and E
