Between GULIELMA MARIA SPRINGET of Amersham, co. Bucks, spinster, sole daughter and heir of Sir William Springett, knt. decd., and GEORGE ELFRED of Hooe, co. Sussex, gent., whereby the said G.M. Springet granted to George Elfred a piece of land called the Churchfeild, containing 11 ac. 1 r. in Hooe, parcel of the demesne lands of the manor of Hooe and abutting and bounding to the churchyard of Hooe and land of the said Geo. Elfred, N., the highway from the Court lodge of Hooe to the vicarage house of Hooe, S., to other demsene lands of the manor of Hooe, E. and other lands of Geo. Elfred called Goodwins, W. And the said George Elfred granted in exchange 2 pieces of land containing 11½ ac., one piece thereof containing 7 ac. 3 r. and the other 3 ac. 3 r., lying together in Hooe and being part of a tenement and lands holden of the said manor of Hooe by the yearly quit rent of 3 s. 11d. and sometime belonging to John Duncke, gent., and lately purchased of Thos. Marten, gent. (bounds as before described)
