(eldest son and heir apparent of the said John Atkin senr.) and GEORGE MARTIN of Crowherst, gent., and EDWARD WELSH of Battell, gent. - in consideration of an intended marriage between the said John Atkin junr. and Susan Martin, one of the daughters of John Martin of Crowherst, gent., (brother of the said George Martin) - to lead the use of a Recovery of a messuage or tenement, barn, stable and buildings, orchard and 56 ac. of land &c. called the Barnefeild, the Cony Croft, the Forestall feild, the Broomefeild, the Three Corner feild and the Lower Poddecroft
