Catalogue description Deed

Between JOHN BUSBRIDGE of Etchingham, esq., and JOANE his wife and ANTHONY MAY son of Anthony May late of Pashley in Ticehurst, esq. decd. and the said Joane, whereby after reciting that the said Anthony May by his Will dated 1 Nov., 1635, devised that the said Joane his wife should raise £2000 out of his manors for the said Anthony his son to be laid out in lands to be settled upon the said Anthony and his heirs at 21 years And reciting the Will of Adrian May late decd. brother of the said Anthony party to the deed dated 2 Nov., 1653. And reciting the purchase by the said Joane from Benjamin Scarlett of the manor, messuages, iron works &c. before mentioned, the uses of the said manor and premises were declared.
