By JOHN RELFE, son and heir of John Relfe late of Asnburnham, gent. decd., and MARGARETT RELFE, widow and relict of the said John Relfe decd., to BENIAMIN SCARLETT of the Inner Temple, London, gent., with LEWIS HARRIS of London, gent., as a party of the 3rd part, - for £212 paid by Beniamin Scarlett - of 13½ ac. of land and hop garden called Braies Feildes in Ashburnham, abutting to the closes and orchard of the said Beniamin and John Gyles, clerk, called the Forge Folke close in the tenure of Anthony Seane and William Gaynne, E. and N., the River running from the Iron work of the said John Gyles and Beniamin Scarlett to Ashburnham Mill, E., lands of John Ashburnham, esq., S. and the carrying way from the tenement of the said John Ashburnham to the said Ironwork or forge, W. and N

 

Also 1¾ ac of lewe meadowground or brookland in Ashburnham and Penhurst between the river running from the Floodgate of the Ironwork or Forge aforesaid and the Hammer ditch going from the said Ironwork or Forge towards Ashburnham Mill aforesaid

 

And Covenant to suffer a Recovery
