By HENRY SHELLEY of Southover, esq., to SIR RICHARD COLBROND, bart., son and heir male of Sir James Colbrond late of Lewes, bart., who was son and heir of Sir John Colbrond late of Southover, bart. decd. - in pursuance of a decree of the Court of Chancery - of the manors, lands &c. in Wartling, Pevensey and Manxey which by deed of 20 Dec., 3 Chas. I, were demised by the said Sir John Colbrond to Edward Michell of Stammerham, esq., (since decd.) and Theobald Michell son and heir apparent of the said Edward, (also since decd.) and the said Henry Shelley for 3000 years upon trust - Excepting from the surrender one messuage called Elliots with buildings &c. and 1½ ac. of land and 6½ ac. called Kingswell crofte and Ryfeild and 25½ ac called Champines and Sharvelds in Boreham in Wartling and 2 parcels of marshland in Manxey in Pevensey, which in execution of the said trusts the said Hen. Shelley had sold to Richard Alchorne, And also the manor of Dowles and Skeynes and 1 ac. of marshland in Manxey, sold to John Gyles, clerk. Signature, Henry Shelley, and armorial seal
