Kent, knt., to JOHN ASHBURNHAM of Ashburnham, esq., of marshlands as follows:- Bulksbridge (10 ac.); Manxie mars (21 ac.) in Pevensey; 1 ac. near Perry croft; Budgehope (1½ac.) near the highway from Hailsham to Herstmonceux, N. part of Grovelands (24 ac.) lying to Megham Gutt, W.; 5 ac. in the marsh called Fourteen acres, 9 ac. thereof being formerly in occupation of John Huggatt; 1ac. part of the said 14 ac., which by agreement between Christopher Hills and the said John Huggat were to be set out of a parcel of 7 ac. of the said 14 ac.; all the premises being parcel of the manor of Bowley in Horsey and Bowley levels.
