Suffolk, esq. and ALICE his wife to BENJAMIN SCARLETT of the Inner Temple, gent., (THOMAS ROBERT of Warbleton, gent., THOMAS LADE of Staple Inn, London, gent., and THOMAS HEMSLEY, citizen and Vintner of London also being parties) - in consideration of £142. 1s. - of the manor or lordship of Haselden in the co. of Sussex and a messuage, barn and lands called Haselden in Dollington in the occupation of Geffrey Freind and John Greylinge, containing 120 ac. Also lands called the Sabions containing 12 ac. in the occupation of Thomas Foster in Dallington and Ashburneham. Also coppices and woodland containing 38 ac. called Horneden; 62 ac. called Haselden; 75 ac. called Highwood and Sringwood; 62 ac. called the Lower Paningredge; 72 ac. called the Upper Pamingredge, all in Dallington and Ashburneham Also of the manor or farm of Glyndewith all houses &c. lands &c. belonging containing 150 ac. in the tenure of Solomon Glydd and William Drinker in Bexhill; Also lands called Stonehurst, Fridlan and Hobsters alias Hobsters Wyshe containing 40 ac. in Dallington; and all other the lands of the said Thomas Baker in Dallington and Ashburneham (the advowson of Dallington Church and land called the Crippe containing 50 ac. and land called Henshott in Dollington excepted) The following deeds covenanted to be produced by Benjamin Scarlett:- 13 March, 19 Hen.
