By THOMAS BRIAN of Battell, gent., and ANNE his wife with JOHN BROOKE, gent., son and heir apparent of the said Anne and FRANCES MILLES, cozen and heir of Richard Milles of Rye, gent., - in consideration of an intended marriage between the said John Brooke and the said Frances Milles - to stand seised of the manor of Farleigh alias Frenche Court in the parish of Farleighe, co. Sussex, and in several messuages, barns &c., lands &c. containing 160 ac. in Farleighe; Also of a messuage and 100 ac. of land &c. called Stakenden in Catesfeild, Ashbornham and Penherst to the use therein stated
