Between WILLIAM RELFE, gent., and WILLIAM RELFE, gent., 2nd. son of the said William, and CHRISTOFER SWALE of Hurstperpointe, doctor of divinity, - by way of settlement on an intended marriage between the said William Relfe the son and Anne Pellatt, one of the daughters and co-heirs of John Pellat late of Bolney, esq. decd., son and heir apparent while he lived of Sir Benjamin Pellatt, knt. decd., - to lead the use of a Fine to be levied to the said Chris. Swale of the manor, messuages &c. following: That is to say, the manor of Ashborneham, with the manorhouse and lands & c Burridge wood (80 ac.); Perry wood, 10 ac.; Perryfeilds, 14 ac.; Muncke Stumbletts, 3 ac.; Dynes Farm, 59 ac.; Eastfield, 3 ac.; a messuage and lands in tenure of Wm. Slater, 36 ac.; 4 ac. near the Water Mill; the Water Mill and Mill house; the manor of Penborne alias Herst Megham alias Willsham, Rookefield, 14 ac.; the Moatefield, 12 ac.; Longebrooke between Rookefield and Moatefield, 3 ac.; 2 ac. of woodland; the Parke, 36 ac.; 9 ac. of Upland lying to the vicarage, and all other manors &c. purchased of Edward Bromfeild esq., now Lord Mayor of London, and John Bromfeild his son and others
