By SIR JAMES COLBROND of Lewes, bart., son and heir apparent (sic) of Sir John Colbrond late of Southover, bart. decd., to JOHN GYLES of Nendfeild, clerk, - for 40s - of the manor of Dowles and Skeynes and 1 ac. of marshland at Manxie in Pevensey, to lands of George Stroode, esq., S. and E., to Manxie churchyarde, W. and all other the lands &c., rents, services, &c. privileges &c. to the said manor belonging - except the other demesne lands beside the said one acre
