- To be buried in the churchyard of Cattisfeild in the Tombe of myn anncestors next unto the churche porche theere. - To the clarke of the parish for the opening of the said Tombe, 10s. To the mason who shall orderlie make upp the said Tombe agayn, 10s

 

To the collectors for the poor of Hooe and Cattisfeild 20s. yearly for 5 years. Legacies: - to children of brother, Edward Combes; children of brother John Aneston; sister Diggons and wife of Richard Averey. To Richard Rootes of Battell 40s. to buy him a cow the same to Thos. James of Hoce. To John Border servant to Mr Alfraye of Battell, 40s

 

To John Thatchar of Cattisfeild, Robert Farncombe of Battell and Edward Garrett of Bexhill 10s a piece

 

To his heir to be named "my Quearne, my great Table, the bedestedle that I lys in and my Furnesse as Standard unto my howse (sic) wherein I nowedwell". To Every of his servants 20s a piece. - To every of his godchildren a ewe or its value - To the wife of John Akeherst of Fatland a cow or its value. Brother Goddard Aneston, £10

 

Residue to wife Margaret, who is made sole executrix

 

Overseers, Thos. Style £6. 13s. 4d. and to R. Keete a Rone gelding, over and above their charge and paynes

 

All lands and tenements to wife Margaret for life, remainder to William Aneston, son of testator's brother Thos, Aneston, in tail with contingent remainders to other sons of Thomas Aneston
