(a) 6 pieces of land and one of wood containing 36 ac. lying to a whapple way from Pipperingey water mill to Cattesfeld church, E. and S., land of the said John Yeldinge, W. and S., lands of the same and customary lands of the manor of Battle and demesne lands of Battle, N

 

(b). Two pieces of brook and 3 of arable land and 2 "Stomlet voc' Stumblets" containing 30 ac. lying together to land of (blank) Byne and Thos. Hatcher, N., land of Lady Pelham called Forwood, E., land of same and Lawrence Levett, esq., and (blank) Rabett, E. and S., a lane from Hendly Doune to Pipperingly Mill, W

 

(c). 4 ac. of land lying to (blank) Rabett, E. and S. and S. and W. and the said lane, W

 

(d). 3 parcels containing 20 ac. lying to land of the said Rabett, N. and E., Richard Iden, E. and S., the highway from Crowherst to Cattesfeld Church and to Henly Downe, S. and to the said lane, W. and N

 

(e). The Manor house, a barn and all buildings, orchards &c. belonging

 

(f). 10 parcels of land and wood containing 60 ac. lying together and bounding to the said lane leading from Hendlye doune to Pipperingey Mill, E., to Hendly doune, S. and the highway from Hendly doune to Cattesfeld, church, W., to a croft called the Parson's croft, W. and N., to the lane from Pipperingey mill to Cattesfeld church N. and land of the said Rabett, E. and N

 

(g). 8 parcels of land and wood containing 30 ac. called the Hammes lying together and bounding to land of the said Lawrence Levytt, E. and S. land of Lord Dacre, E., a lane from Kyngfeld bridge to Hendly doune, S. and W., land of William Iden, W. and N. and to Hendly doune, N

 

(h). The said parcel of land called Hendly doune containing 10 ac., with a windmill, a house, a barn and a shop built thereon

 

(i). A small parcel of land bounding to the house of Henry Stylman and a cottage inhabited by Henry Owden, with a particle of land adjoining newly enclosed from the waste

 

(j). A parcel of woodland containing 2 ac. lying to land of Combes called Smithes land, N. and E., land of the heirs of John Aneston called Southwod, S. and W., and land of Thomas Parker, W. and N

 

(k). A parcel of land and one of woodland called an Aldrett and commonly called the Birchett containing 8 ac., to land of the said Combes, N. and E., to the said lane between Hendlye doune and Potmans bridge, E. and S. and land of the heirs of John Aneston, S. and W

 

(l). A parcel of land called Little Lankster containing 5 ac., to land of Wm. Haye, E. and N., the heirs of Thos. Slywright, S., the said lane between Potmans bridge and Hendly doune, W. and N

 

(m). A cottage and parcel of land in the tenure of John Comber containing 4 ac., to land of the heirs of Thos Slywright, E., the said lane between Hendlye doune and Potmans bridge, S. the kings highway between Potmans bridge and Cattesfeld church, W. and the heirs of John Aneston, N

 

(n). 4 parcels of land called Upland and a parcel of land covered by water called Millers, containing in the whole 14 ac. lying together to the kings highway from Cattisfeld church to Potmans bridge, E. land of William Waters, gent., S. and E., William Haye, S., W. and N. and woodland of the said John Yeldinge called Southwood, E. and N

 

(o). A parcel of woodland called Reedwood and a small piece of brook adjoining the same containing together 10 ac., to land of Wm. Haye, N., E. and S., land of Richard Aneston, S. and W. and land of William Aneston, W. and N

 

(p). A wood called Southwood and 2 crofts adjoining, containing together 30 ac., one of which crofts is called Pipers croft. (Except a parcel of woodland containing 2 ac. in the said wood being land of the heirs of John Aneston and exbounded) The said premise lying to to the highway between Cattisfeld church and Potmans bridge, E., land of the said John Yeldinge, S., William Haye., W., S. and N

 

(q). 9 parcels of land and wood containing 40 ac. called Aptons lying together to the highway between Cattisfeld church and Hendly doune, N. and E., land of Henry Stylman, and William Haye, E. and S., land of Combes, S. and W. and the highway between Potmans bridge and Catsfeld church, W. and N

 

(r). A parcel of land being rough lands called Keetfeld and Horsedene containing 30 ac. lying to customary lands of William Bankes held of the manor of Battell, N. and E., land of said John Yeldinge, S., William Waters, S. and W. and the highway from Catsfeld Greene to Battell, W. and N

 

Deed endorsed with Livery of seisin in the presence of William Nowell, Richard Iden, Will. Iden, Thos. Colloway, Will Hayward, Henry Stylman, James Eppe and Stephen Eppes

 

Also Attornement immediately after seisin by Wm. Iden, Hen. Stylman, and Thos. Dolloway, being tenants of the manor and farmers of some part of the lands. On 20 April, 1584 of Hen. Owden; 24 April, Thos. Parker, In May ensuing, Will. Haye attorned in ye Study of ye said Edmund Pelham at Greys Inne in the presence of John Haye, bro. of the said William. In June, Will. Waters, gent. attorned tenant in ye study of the said Edmund at Battell in the presence of Will Aneston
