By JAMES HARDRES otherwise called HARDES, son and heir of George Hardres alias Hardes, esq., lord of two parts of the manor of Cattesfeld in 5 parts divided, to WILLIAM NESTON, and WILLIAM, son of SIMON NESTON, confirming their estate, granted by charter dated 23 June, 38 Hen.VI, by George, the father of the said James, to the said William and Simon, in lands called Telton, Hopelond, Estlond and a meadow called Colleswisshe, also in 30 ac. in Southwode and 2 ac. next the street from Cattesfeld church to Crowherst and lands called Sprottes lying on both sides of the way called Sprottes strete and two parcels called the Wisshe and the Strake in Cattesfeld.
