WILLIAM ASHBURNHAM to THOMAS ROOPER of St Martins in the Feilds, gent., JOHN PURFEILD of Battell, gent., and JOHN PLUMMER of Ashburnham, gent., of an Annuity of £30 issuing out of marshlands called Greenlands containing 67 ac. in Manxey Level in Pevensey which the said Wm. Ashburnham lately purchased of Dr Arthur Amherst and Eleanor his wife, for the maintenance and relief of the poor persons dwelling in an Almshouse in Ashburnham consisting of 6 several rooms or apartments, to be nominated by the possessor of Ashburnham Place
