Custodial history:

The house was on the corner of Eastport Lane and Garden Street and the site (together with its garden) is now occupied by nos 12-15 Garden Street. The house was probably pulled down and cottages erected on the site by Alexander Cheal who died in 1825. These had been pulled down by 1911, however, and the present houses were erected in the early 1920s
