Administrative / biographical background:

H T Grace was born in 1788, son of Thomas Grace of Risborough (Bucks). After attending Pembroke College Cambridge, he was ordained deacon and priest in 1812. Jevington and Westham were his only parishes: he held both until his death in 1871 aged 83. He was buried at Westham on 18 November 1871
