His interest in a messuage, kitchen, barns, buildings and land in Herstmonceux and Wartling which George a Stocke of Herstmonceux bequeathed to his wife Joan, [later wife of SF's father John Frenche], for life, with remainder to Alexander Pelling on condition, with a remainder to GW should Alexander Pelling die in Joan's lifetime
