1 A copyhold tenement called Bondishers (1a), held by JP of TS by a quitrent of 4d (E: the land of John Fuller and the vicarage land; W, N: the way to Heathfield church), and six rods of land of the waste

 

2 13¼a of waste on the Great Down (W: lands of Richard Tailour; N: a way from Cade Street to a piece of ground called The Slaughter; E: lands of William Storer; S: a road from Cade Street to Dallington) intended to belong to 1

 

To hold of TS by a quitrent of 4d, heriot of best beast and relief of 4d for every tenant dying seised of the whole tenement and 2d an acre for every tenant dying seised of less than the whole; TS appoints John Myles of Heathfield, clerk, his attorney to deliver seisin

 

Recites: letters patent granting the manor of Heathfield and other property to Richard Branthwaite of London, esq, and Roger Bromley of Bagworth Park in Leicestershire, esq, 8 Jun 1588; sale by Branthwaite and Bromley to TS, to hold of the queen by a rent of £6 17s 8d, 26 Jun 1588
