Edward Turner of Hartfield, yeoman, and his wife Mary (only sister and administratrix of John Miller of Hartfield, yeoman, who died intestate) to John Ready of East Grinstead, salesman, and Storer Ready of East Grinstead, salesman (sons of John Ready of East Grinstead, salesman, deceased)

 

Messuage, barn, buildings, gardens, orchards, closes and five pieces of land and wood called Wools or Woolfs or Owles Croft (7a), occupied by Thomas Parrott, before JM, before William Longley, in Hartfield (E: land called Beeches; S, W: road from Hartfield Town to Cansiron Forge; N: the river)

 

Recites: mortgage for £200 at 3½% by JM to JR the elder, 13 Nov 1769; will of JR appointing his sons JR and SR his executors and residuary legatees, 16 Jul 1782; probate in PCC; £221 owing for principal and interest; that the term created by the mortgage of 1769 is to be assigned to George Sawyer of East Grinstead, mercer, in trust for JR and SR
