1 26a abut S: land of Thomas [Sackville] Lord Buckhurst called Sackviles Marsh; S, E: land of Richard Cheyne, esq; W: land of [blank] Rootes called The Thurtyes; N: road from Hailsham to Horseye

 

2 4a abut on the road from Pevensey to Horseye which Thomas Landes lately held by lease from James Gage, esq, deceased, and which were part of the possessions of the dissolved monastery of Bayham, and which EC, AK, GC and TR lately had, with other land, by the grant of Theophilus Adames of London, gent, Robert Adams of London, grocer, Nicholas Geefe of London, gent and Robert Bewmonde, citizen and draper of London, by deed of 30 Nov 1584

 

To be held of the queen of the manor of East Greenwich by fealty only and not in chief; EC, AK, GC and TR appoint John Gilbert of Mayfield and John Dunstone of Battle, butcher, attorneys to deliver seisin; not executed by TR
