1 Messuage, barn, malthouse and 64a called Smartshill in Penhurst, occupied by JWL, which descended to him as heir of his father Edward Luck, who lately died intestate

 

2 Messuage and stable in Wadhurst Town, and a barn and six pieces of land (16a) near Wadhurst Town, occupied by Thomas Barham, gent

 

3 Messuage in Wadhurst, occupied by [blank] Willett, clerk

 

4 Three pieces of land and one of wood (24a) in Waldron, occupied by JWL and Edward Bradford

 

All bequeathed to JWL by his grandfather John Wells; CB's portion of £1000 to be paid within a year after the death of JB with interest at 5%
