Taunton Divisional Labour Party was founded in 1918, at the same time as the national Labour Party. In 1975 it was reorganized as Taunton Constituency Labour Party. The records deposited largely concern the workings of the central bodies, the Executive and Management committees of the Divisional Party and the Taunton Local Party.
