These records appear to have come to the firm from the former practice of Tucker & Forward in Chard. They are, however, disappointingly few for a firm of long-standing with wide-ranging public and semi-public duties and consist largely of deeds of Chard and neighbouring parishes [arranged alphabetically below, as DD/PTR 1-28], a small quantity of personal and family papers [DD/PTR 29-33] and a similar quantity of papers representing clients' business interests, most notably the various partnerships in the Chard Brewery involving the Coling family [DD/PTR 34-40]
