Description:

Map constructed from three sheets of the Ordnance Survey (presumably the 1902 edition), and coloured by hand to show the Nyland Estate; heliozincographed on linen-backed paper; 18 in. x 18 in.; 6 in. to one mile.

 

The areas coloured comprise a part of the then civil parish of Nyland with Batcombe, stretching N.E. from Monk Moor and Nyland Hill to Batcombe Hollow, and a very small detached portion in the then civil parish of Cheddar.
