Two bills of costs incurred on the 'carriage and porterage' of a survey of the manor of Cadoxton East Barry, valuation of Cheddar, Nyland and Badcombe, execution of contracts of sale of Farmborough farms, Cheddar and Timsbury estates, the three manors of Chew, North Elm, and Dundry, drawing of abstract of title to the manors of Queen Charlton and Chewton Keynsham, and relevant legal services, 1766-67; bills for expenses incurred in the matter of repair of highways on the Littlecote estate, 1781-82, and of ejectment of tenants, encroachment, the Kennet and Avon canal, settlement of the estate at Wellington, inspection of ancient deeds at Littlecote concerning commons, enrolment of a deputation to a gamekeeper with the clerk of the peace for Wilts., 1809; and three bills of costs concerning the valuing and sale of timber on the Somerset estate to cover the redemption of land tax, etc., 1807-1810.
