Half-yearly paper accounts, endorsed 'Wellington Auditt', (See also no. DD/PO/25 above.) with vouchers, for Lady Day, 1725 and Michaelmas 1735.

 

Receipts. Manor rents from Wellington Borough and Landside, Bridgwater with Durleigh, Pykes Ash, and Middle Lambrook in co.Somerset, and Churchstanton, Madford [in Hemyock], Rawridge [in Upottery], Upottery, Shapcombe, and Clay-hidon in co.Devon. Farm rents from Wellington Demeasnes, the Town Hall, Wellington markets and fairs, Wellington Park, Trickey Warren and Farm, and Upottery Farm. Fines, heriots, and casual receipts, including 'pitching pence in Churchenford Faire', 1725.

 

Disbursements. Rates and taxes, tithes, 'the sexton for cleaning the monument', 1725, 1735, and maintenance of the 'almespeople', 1725, 1735, and incidental expenses such as 'casting the cryers bell of Wellington', 1725, and 'laying reed on the parsonage barn and court barton since the hard wind', 1735.
