Title: HOUNDSTREET ESTATE carpenters' etc. accounts and vouchers
Description:

Accounts, with vouchers, for carpenters', joiners', smiths', plasterers', painters' and labourers' work done for Mrs Popham at Houndstreet; generally complete for the period 1782-96.

Disbursements only. Names of recipients, with days worked and wages paid; and a few payments for miscellaneous expenses including materials.

Most of the vouchers are receipts for cash advances given by Daniel Green, who was apparently responsible for settling the accounts.

There is very little indication of the estate concerned, except for a plasterer's bill, 1782, for work done in 'the Cove'd Room' and 'the Octagon Collumn'd Hall' of the house at Houndstreet.
