Miscellaneous documents whose existence within the collection is not self-explanatory:

 

(a) Schedule of poor rate for Hungerford, Sanden Fee, Hidden, and Edington, in that part of the parish of Hungerford which is in Berks., and for Charnham Street in the part in Wilts., 1704, giving names of occupiers, an occasional note of the properties, and amounts of rate. [This parchment roll appears to be an original document which has strayed from parish (civil) custody, and not a copy made for estate purposes].

 

(b) Admission of William Radford as deacon, by the Bishop of Bath and Wells, 1706.

 

(c) MS. volume entitled 'Clinical Lectures by George Fordyce, senior phsyician to St. Thomas's Hospital.--Vol. 1st 1785'.

 

(d) List on paper of the game (hare, pheasant, and partridge) shot in September 1788 'sur les terres de Schleb et Nassaberg, seigneuries appartenantes au Prince Adam d'Aversperg', giving the names of the best 'shots'.
