Appleby, dated from Chancery Lane, to Alexander Popham at Wamborough, announcing the death of the latter's nephew, and offering to serve the interests of the family, 1705; and (b) from Alexander Colston, dated from Drogheda, to General Leyborne Popham at Exeter, concerning the skeleton of a 'monstrous animal' found in a bog, and mentioning the death of Nelson, 1805.
