Original Will of Chas. Pyne of Curry Mallet, esq., 1 Apr. 1715, devising his manor of Pitney Lortie, manor of Northall and Isle Abbots, mess. with 21 a. in Fivehead (lately purchd. of Peter Glassbrooke, gent.), 4 a. called Swethams and dw. house, and 1 a. mdw. with beast leazes in Millmore, Otterham, Isle Abbots Wood and Burnards Hill in I.A. (purchd. of Saml. and Marmaduke Podger) to son John Pyne, and wife Frances, with bequests to wife Frances, son John and dau. Amy (now wife of John Cozen). Dorset), esq., 18 Feb. 1833, cod. 14 Aug. 1836, 7 June 1839, devising ppty. in the commonable places of West Sedgemoor, land in Curry Mallet parcel of the Duchy of Cornwall, ppty. in Stoke St. Gregory and North Curry, manor of Northall als. Isle Abbots etc., with bequests to neph. John Pyne (son of decd. bro. Rev. Anthony P.), and John's bro. Rev. Wm. P., Mary Freeman (servant of decd. wife), sisters Mary Michell, Charlotte and Juliet P., and nieces Mary, Frances, Catherine, Jane, Anna Maria, and Juliana Pyne, and friend John Williams of Langport.
