1. John Whitmore of Shipley clerk and Elizabeth Trevell of the City of Worcester spinster

 

2. Benjamin Purehall of Wercester gentleman and Sedgwick Harrison of the University of Oxford

 

Consideration: a marriage to be had between John and Elizabeth and articles of agreement of 14 February instant between the same parties

 

Release of a messuage in Shipley in the parish of Claverley with appurtenances, and a messuage in Farelow co Hereford (heretofore Thomas Palmer, now or late John Harper) with appurtenances - all which are the freehold of John Whitmore: and 4 closes in the parish of St Johns in Bedwardine co Worcs called Pitmaston (heretofore Richard Carwardine esq deceased afterwards John Bagshaw, afterwards Abell Gower) which were purchased from Humphry Leagmore of Worcester haberdasher since deceased (now William Farr as tenant to Elizabeth Trevell) - they are her freehold

 

To held on trust, an to John's property, to his use till the marriage, after to use of John for life, after to use of Elizabeth his wife and her assigns for her life, and after the death of the survivor, to use of children as John and Elizabeth should jointly by deed or will appoint, in default to use of heirs of the body of Elizabeth by John, or right heirs of John: as to the 4 closes, to use of Elizabeth till the marriage, then to use of John and assigns for his life. Elizabeth and assigns for her life, after survivor's death to use of heirs of the body of Elizabeth by John, in default to use of such persons as she shall appoint in her will, or her right heirs.
