Note

Hugh de Solrugge and Aveline his wife were still alive in 1341. They then held a mill in Astleye, the reversion of which belonged to John de Astleye; he proposed to grant this reversion to William de Fyllilor junior and his heirs, on condition that William should settle it on John for life, with remainder to himself, William and Dionisia his wife, and heirs of their bodies or in default the right heirs of John de Astleye

This suggests a family connection between Hugh and his wife and John in the first place.
