Commission for Inquisition. The articles of enquiry relate to:- boundaries of woods and wastes of Calverton; whether the waste of Burnhagh is in Calverton or the manor of Woodborough; trees cut down in Calverton since 1660: woods incoppiced in Thornhagh since 1660; whether the ancient wood of Alborne-Haye was ever parcel of any waste or cornfield; assarts, lands, tenements, tenants, offences and courts held in the forest; trees cut down in Billhagh and Birkland since 1660 and any alterations of boundaries there; a book of records concerning Sherwood Forest; fees and salaries of forest officers; who appoints the clerk of the forest courts; extra-parochial tithes; assarts, particularly at Blidworth.
