Description:

NOTIFICATION that whereas in the Hundred of the Abbot de Bourgo sancti Petri de Nasso Burg by the King's writ concerning nuisances a plea was moved, viz:- that Thomas le Schereman, de Burgo Sancti Petri and Agnes his wife had made a complaint that Lecia Parys, of Castre had put up certain houses near the messuage of the said Thomas and Agnes to the nuisance of their free tenement in Castre whereby their place was no little deteriorated per deguttacionem domiciliorum [the drippings of the houses]; at length, friends intervening, the plea was ended as follows: the said Thomas and Agnes grant to Lecia that she may keep the said houses as they are now, and no claim is to be made against her concerning the drippings, for which grant she will pay to Thomas and Agnes 8sh.
