This company of ironfounders, based in Wolverhampton, had no known connection with Hingley's. The minutes of directors' meetings reveal a company in a state of terminal decline. It must be assumed that the end of the volume signifies the end of the firm in its original form, as a company trading as Green & Russell (1940) Ltd carried on in business (in Wednesfield) until the mid-1990s. Unusually for the iron trades, during the ten years covered by the minutes, the company was in effect controlled by two women, Mrs C M Lees and Mrs M E Wood.
