Description:

Whereby, having recited:- firstly, that S. Laxon (described as in 353/19/12 owns land edged red on the attached plan, and the right of passage therethrough from Chapel St.; and secondly, that Henry Mann (of "the City Carriage Works", 16, Lamb St., Coventry, carriage-builder) owns premises adjoining Lamb St. (and has made an opening in the north wall of the red-edged land): therefore, (firstly) in consideration of the rent and covenants, S. Laxon leases to H. Mann liberty of passage along that part of the red-edged land lying between dotted lines shown on the plan, with similar liberty over the road, yearly paying £10 rent; (secondly), H. Mann covenants with S. Laxon (a) that he will pay the rent, (b) that he will not let vehicles block the road, (c) that he will keep locked the gate from his premises when not in use, and (d) that at the expiry of this annually-renewable licence he will replace the northern boundary-wall's missing piece; and thirdly, that either party may end the licence with six months' notice from 24th. June, 1926, but that S. Laxon may terminate the arrangement if the rent is three weeks behindhand.
