Whereby, in consideration of £275 (paid by Sydney Laxon (of Bishop St., Coventry, wholesale grocer) on behalf of J. E. Neale (described as in 353/19/8), to Charles Orton (of House 6, Court 12, Well St., Coventry(haulier)) and of £25 (paid by Neale to Orton), Orton and Neale convey to Laxon 317 sq. yd. in Chapel St. (bounded south by hereditaments formerly Henry Conway's; or part of the cost by Dennis George Barnes' property but on the rest of the east by lands sold by Neale to Laxon; on the north by the property of the late John Webb; and on the west by houses formerly Court 12, Well St.) with right of passage over a 12 ft. wide roadway from Chapel St. to Webb's land, now Laxon's property (as shown on an attached plan).
