Catalogue description Memorandum of agreement

Made between Walter P. Evans (as agent for the Warws. Coal Co. Ltd., 19 Priory Row, Coventry) and S. Lister Marshall (as secretary of the Lockhurst Lane (Foleshill) Industrial Cooperative Society Ltd., Holmsdale Rd., Foleshill, Coventry) whereby it is arranged firstly, that the company will sell to the society 700 sq. yd. at Keresley, Warws., at 5/- per sq. yd., as shown on a survey to be prepared, the society paying half the costs; secondly, that the society will have no right of passage over 20ft. in front of certain cottages; thirdly, that the subterranean minerals will be reserved to the vendors; fourthyly, that the purchasers will erect a 4ft. 6in. hedge between points marked on a plan; fifthly, that the society will have the right to erect a temporary building or sign-board on the land; sixthly, that the society will furnish the company with plans of any intended permanent buildings.
