Title: Probate of the Will of Thomas Hayes (of Coventry, gent., late innholder)
Description:

Whereby the testator bequeaths to his wife Mary his personalty, together with a £30 annuity upon the "Red Lion" payable every 6th. Jan., 6th. Apr., 11th. July and 11th. Nov.; his son Joseph receives a moiety of the "Red Lion" with successive uses to W.[I]. Gilbert (described as in PA 353/5/2) and John Ward (of Broadgate, grocer) during the son's lifetime, to Joseph's children with right of survivorship, and to Thomas' daughter Elizabeth Hayes and her heirs; Gilbert and Ward are allotted the other moiety for the life of E. Hayes until she reaches 21 or marriage, with successive uses to Eliazbeth, her children, her brother and his children on the same terms as the first moiety; M. Hayes, Gilbert and Ward are appointed executors, the two latter being E. Hayes' guardians; probate granted at Lichfield on 11th. Apr., 1823, the estate being valued at less than £100.
