Whereby, having recited:- firstly, that H. Barber (lately of "Chevy Chase", Crackley Cres., Kenilworth) had been seized of hereditaments subject to a mortgage since discharged; secondly, that on 8th Nov., 1938 H. Barber appointed the vendors (W.N. and E.M. Barber and W.J. Orton, described as in 353/16/14) her executors; and thirdly, H. Barber's death and probate as in 353/16/183: therefore, firstly, in consideration of £4,400, the vendors convey to George Barber & Sons (Coventry) Ltd., Wellington St., Coventry, a warehouse and offices on the east side of Wellington St. (as shown on a 30th Dec., 1924 conveyance made between William Johnson Beaty of the first, Henry Wood Slingsby Grimes of the second, and H. Barber of the third,parts) with right of way from Nelson St. to the hereditaments' rear, together with a similar right in common over a portion of the premises' yard (at the rear of the adjoining messuages 9 and 10, Yardley St., reserving the occupiers of the last-mentioned houses entry-rights over the passage at the extreme south of the warehouse); secondly, the vendors covenant to produce a copy of H. Barber's probate. |
