Description:

Whereby, as the property is intended to be held by the Salvation Army according to the trusts expressed in a deed poll made by its founder the late William Booth of the Salvation Army on 7th. Aug., 1878 (supplemented by W. Booth's 26th. July, 1904 deed poll) and purchased with Army revenue. therefore, wn consideration of £650, William Jukes (described as in PA 353/14/4) conveys to W.B. Booth (described as in PA 353/14/1) land at Kensington Rd., Coventry with a 15 ft. frontage (bounded west by heriditaments formerly belonging to Thomas Frederick Bird, north by a 4 ft. backway, east by other Bird property) covering 166 sq. yd.; also number 66 built thereon with right of passage along the backway to Henley Rd. and liberty in common to lay pipes therealong subject to the 1878 and 1904 deed polls and to a mortgage made between the Rowley Regis and District Benefit Building Society, Bird, and Jukes.
